The Domaine Montirus is located in Sarrianssouth of the Rhône Valley, on the names Vacqueyras, Gigondas and Côtes du Rhône.

Precursor of the Biodynamics In France, this vineyard covers 58 hectares and offers a wide range of wines of character:

  • notes of liquorice, violet and black fruits for red wines,
  • white wines are balanced with a beautiful freshness on the palate, notes of white flowers and honey...

What is biodynamics?

 

The principle of biodynamics was born in the 1920s with the observation of Rudoph Steiner the evolution of vineyards and their degeneration.

The fundamentals of this agriculture are based on the fact that land, animals and plants must be respected to give the best.

Biodynamic agriculture uses natural fertilizers, herbal preparations and moon cycle to obtain healthy grapes, without pesticides or other chemical fertilizers...
